Yes... we do now split the bill for groups 🎉

We know this is one of the biggest questions you all ask... Can we split the bill?

Well, until now we have been pretty strict at saying no. Why? Well it's complicated... But the most exciting thing is that this is about to change, thanks to groupee. There are loads of reasons why we, and so many other restaurants have been saying no splitting he bills in the past, but that's about to change!

So we know its frustrating when 25 of you finish, no one has cash and you need to either run to the nearest ATM or transfer to your mate while he puts it on his card.  You should be heading to another bar and not dealing with this!

So why cant we, and why do we do this to you? 

We can only talk from our oint of veiw, but this is a sydney wide issue. No on lets you split bills, and it does suck, but its gonna be better, we promise 

We offer exceptional value in our offering, and with that means that we dont have a door person standing at the door with little else to do but welcome guests and print bills. and thus it is our waitsaff who run bills, and take payments. Its just not possible to take them away from serving tables for such a long time to split a bill a million times ( 😡) Each card transaction takes up to 1 minute, not even allowing for people unsure of the account, or getting the pin wrong, or not having money in the account and needing to transfer. Multiply this for 25 and thats nearly half and hour to process 1 bill. We seat 75 people, in one siting. So you see where im going. 

But... this is the past, let us focus on the future. This is the exciting bit.  

Did you know there is an app out there which lets you and your mates not only split the bills, but take payments effortlessley and deals direct with the restaurant meaning if you all use groupee no transaction takes place and it can take just one minute for 25 people to split the bill. .  Means you guys can work it all out once you have your bill, get the staff to simply sign off the transaction with one simple code and you are one your way!

We love the idea of groupee and you can use it to pay your  way whether you are a couple of mates or a party of 48! It's another way to make Sydney dining even more accessible. 

World Nutella day!

That's right, it has its own day to celebrate the deliciousness of itself! And that day is this Sunday 5th of February! 

This sunday, we are celebrating world Nutella day by offering $10 Nutella pizzas to our diners. We know. Wtf. 

So save a little bit of room for dessert this Sunday, and celebrate the best chocolate spread in the world for just $10 when you dine on any of our menus.

Welcome to 2017! 🎉 🎊 🍕 🍴

Happy New Year! We hope you had an enjoyable break over the festive period, or if you are a visitor, we hope are enjoying some time in our beautiful city of Sydney! 

What a year 2016 was! We are so proud of our little restaurant and can't wait to see what 2017 will bring as we continue to grow!

2016 saw us welcome more and more people through our door each and every week, and deliver thousands of meals direct to you. Without you, this would of course not be possible, and we thank you for your continued support. Not only have thousands visited every month, but so many of you write amazing reviews on Tripadvisor, Zomato and Google which continue to showcase our restaurant to the world!

Because of these amazing reviews, we received a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence in mid 2016.  These are given to only the best restaurants with consistently high reviews on TripAdvisor. We are currently in the top 100 restaurants in Sydney. So thanks 😃

The past year also saw huge shake up in food delivery which has been massive for us. We now deliver hundreds of meals a week to locals and visitors through partners like UberEats, Foodora and Deliveroo, which was previously not possible. Of course,  our locals can continue to pick up direct from us, receiving a 15% discount, plus you also get to say HI!

 In 2017 we will continue to add even more delicious Italian inspired takeout options to keep you fed while unable to visit the restaurant. Keep and eye on our takeout options on our website for an updated menu. 

2016 saw us add new group menus for our dine-in guests perfect for that extra special occasion and our group space has been packed, so we advise booking in early to avoid disappointment. 

In 2017 we will continue to grow our private dining options which have already been popular in 2016.  Our awesome concrete slab dining table is now available weekend lunches for private parties, seating up to 28 people. It's the perfect space for a big get-together with friends and family.

2017 will also bring an expansion to our offsite options, serving you when you can't come to us. We will be adding to our catering options throughout the year, which are already available for office catering and large parties. We plan to roll this our further to local businesses, to keep you fed throughout the day (or night!). From our delicious Pizzas and pasta, through to delicious desserts, sides and salads.  If you would like more info don't hesitate to get in touch.

Festive Period Opening hours

We're here to make dining out affordable throughout the whole of the festive period.  Whether you are visiting this great city and want to try something a little different with our unlimited pizza and pasta concept, or a local catching up with friends and just want delicious Itaalian food without breaking the bank! 

Were closed on all public holidays and New years Eve but open every evening between Christmas and New year from the 28th-30th from 5.30pm! We will then re open from Tuesday 3rd January 2017! 

Over-done the partying? Pizza is the best cure, so sit back and relax at home while our friends over at deliveroo deliver to you!

DINESMART 14th November-31st December

We are proud to once again be supporting the DINESMART campaign, by Street Smart Australia during November and December. 

DineSmart unites restaurants and their diners to help people in their local community.  For the six weeks in the lead-up to Christmas and New Year, participating DineSmart restaurants ask each table to add a small $2 donation to their bill.

100% of all donations collected through restaurants are distributed locally to help people who are homeless or at risk.

During this campaign last year, we raised a huge $1050, which was amazing. We thank you all for your support.  With  the restaurant busier and busier every week, we aim to nearly double this amount this year, and with your help and generosity, we think this is really achievable. 

This year we are asking larger bookings to think about a slightly larger donation than just $2 per bill. With many more diners per-table the per head impact on even just a $10 donation is very little. This campaign really makes a difference and we hope your Christmas party will think about those less fortunate at this time of year. 

Last year our donations were directed to local community projects which will or have already helped people in need. 

Its a great cause and we hope you agree!

Christmas is just 6 weeks away....

Christmas party season is nearly here!

We all know how fast the next 6 weeks will go!  

Drinks invitations every night of the week, catching up with old mates, and friends visiting for the festive season. Its can be super busy time of year for everyone.  So we are here to make it easy. Book in, turn up and the food will start to flow!

I'd like to introduce you to Kathy*, she is clever. Last year Kathy dined with us. Our concept makes organising xmas parties so easy. Just ask Kathy. She did the right thing. 

"There is  no complicated pre ordering of individual dishes, or on the day delays while my friend Mary cant make her mind up on if she does actually like Spicy Italian sausage.

Pizza Autentico makes it so easy,  Mary didn't like the aforementioned sausage, but she need not worry. Her husband John ate  her sausage, as did I .  I love a bit of spice in my life. Mary just had to wait a few minutes before her favourite ricotta and spinach pizza came along, and she was in heaven. John isn't a fan of veggies, so he just passed and let Mary go crazy. He was content to devour as much Italian sausage as he can get his hands on, anyway another round of pizzas was already on its way.   I,  on the other hand,  was taking a break from the pizza,  and had a mouth full of bresaola off the antipasto plate! Well it is christmas after-all! 

What I'm saying is that Mary, John  and the whole team  had a great christmas party because everything was so easy. We even selected one of their drinks packages, and for just $49 we drank ( responsibly) for three hours. I didn't even have to weigh up if I wanted a Prosecco or a red, I always hold up the queue at the bar, and frankly John and Mary are sick of it.

I  had both...and that is where this story stops....  "
